NASCAR takes a break from official races this week to hold its All-Star race. This event is a series of five segments totaling 90 laps. There will be four 20 lap races and one final 10 lap race for the cash. The winner of each 20 lap race will get a top starting spot in the final 10 lap segment.

Short odds to win favor Jimmy Johnson and Kevin Harvick at 5/1. Jeff Gordon, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski follow at 8/1.

Who do you like men? I lean toward Jeff Gordon who has won this All-Star event three times.

Like Johnson and Harvick for sure.

long shot is Brian Vickers. MWR cars are always stout at CLT.
